The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager (Western Canada), the Operations Manager (British Columbia) serves as Second Harvest’s primary community representative and operational lead in British Columbia. As the organization’s key regional ambassador, this role is responsible for building, maintaining and continuously improving on strategic relationships with non-profit partners and community stakeholders in British Columbia.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring surplus food reaches the communities that need it most. Working closely with our Food Recovery & Partnerships and Supply Chain & Logistics teams, the Operations Manager coordinates food distribution strategies for donations across the supply chain from large-scale agricultural and CPG, to store-level retail and foodservice. The Manager identifies and mobilizes recipient organizations for food donations and helps ensure food is efficiently and equitably distributed throughout British Columbia.
