Social Media Coordinator

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

The Social Media Coordinatorwill own social media content and growth across relevant platforms, creating engaging content, managing community engagement, researching competitors and market trends, and using analytics to continuously improve performance.

This role requires 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing, with DTC experience strongly preferred. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for connecting social media activity to measurable business outcomes, including website traffic, reservations, and revenue, rather than focusing solely on follower growth.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Social Media Management

• Create engaging social media content, including short-form videos and Reels.

• Develop content ideas based on the brand, audience, trends, and business goals.

• Manage the content calendar and ensure content is published consistently.

• Adapt content and creative concepts based on platform performance.

• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual presence.

Growth & Revenue Generation

• Develop strategies to grow followers, reach, and engagement.

• Create content designed to drive awareness, consideration, and reservations.

• Build UTM campaigns to track social-driven reservations and conversions.

• Connect social media activity to measurable business outcomes.

• Identify opportunities to turn high-performing content into additional business.

Market & Competitive Research

• Research competitors, local market trends, and consumer behavior.

• Monitor emerging social media trends and content formats.

• Identify opportunities for the brand to differentiate itself.

• Use market insights to generate new content and campaign ideas.

A/B Testing & Optimization

• Test different content formats, creative concepts, messaging, hooks, and calls to action.

• Analyze results to identify what resonates with the target audience.

• Use testing insights to continuously improve the content strategy.

• Replicate and expand successful content concepts.

Community Engagement

• Monitor comments, messages, tags, and mentions.

• Engage with followers and build an active online community.

• Respond to customer questions and feedback professionally.

• Identify recurring customer feedback and communicate useful insights to the team.

Reporting & Analytics

• Track reach, engagement, follower growth, website traffic, and reservations.

• Monitor UTM campaign performance and social-driven conversions.

• Create regular performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.

• Identify which content and campaigns generate the strongest business results.

• Use analytics to guide future content and marketing decisions.

Qualifications

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing.

• DTC experience is strongly preferred.

• Food & beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or consumer brand experience is a plus.

• Proven experience growing social media accounts and engagement.

Skills

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices.

• Hands-on experience creating short-form video and Reels.

• Strong understanding of UTM tracking and campaign attribution.

• Experience with social media analytics and performance reporting.

• Ability to conduct competitive research and A/B testing.

• Strong ability to connect social media performance with measurable business outcomes.

• Strong creative judgment and understanding of what makes social content engaging.

• Data-driven approach to evaluating content and campaign performance.

• Ability to identify and test new content ideas based on trends and consumer behavior.

• Strong organizational skills for managing consistent content execution.

• Commercial mindset with an understanding of how social media contributes to business growth.
