About the Role
Join an early-stage industrial energy management software company as its first sales hire. You will own new business and account growth across industrial customers, helping them use data and software to make energy procurement and consumption more effective.
What You'll Do
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through product demonstrations, business cases, pilots, procurement, security reviews, and contract close.
Build pipeline across the DACH region through targeted outreach, events, partner channels, and customer referrals.
Navigate complex buying committees across energy procurement, plant operations, finance, IT, and executive teams.
Develop existing accounts through additional use cases, sites, and cross-sell opportunities.
Share customer and market insights with company leadership to inform pricing, product direction, and ideal customer profiles.
What We're Looking For
Approximately 3 to 10 years of relevant sales experience, including ownership of complex B2B sales cycles.
Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate clearly with industrial customers and senior stakeholders.
Experience selling to industrial businesses or working in energy, energy management, or related sectors.
Strong prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and account development skills, with the initiative to build pipeline independently.
Comfort working in an early-stage environment and using customer feedback to improve sales processes and product-market fit.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual on-target earnings range from €107,000 to €143,000, depending on level, with a 60/40 base and variable compensation split. The package includes equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.
