Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in building an outbound sales pipeline from scratch. You will be the first dedicated commercial hire in the department and will own the full sales cycle for our products, working in tandem with the Product Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Building and owning a pipeline of new partners, from targeting and first contact to signed contract
- Leading negotiations and preparing commercial proposals and business cases with partner unit economics
- Shaping pricing and monetization models for the department's products together with the Product Manager, including pricing tiers, volume discounts, one-off and recurring fees
- Validating pricing with partners and the market, tracking competitor pricing, and adjusting commercial models based on deal outcomes and margins
- Defining product positioning with the Product Manager and creating the sales kit: pitch deck, one-pagers, partner economics, case studies
- Running targeted outreach campaigns and representing SQUAD at international industry events
- Bringing market and partner feedback to the Product Manager to inform the product roadmap
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or sales in Tech
- Proven ability to build an outbound pipeline from scratch
- Solid knowledge of B2B sales methodologies (BANT, SPIN, MEDDPICC)
- Experience with CRM (HubSpot), Sales Navigator, Apollo, and similar tools
- Experience with AI tools for research, prospecting, and outreach tasks
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness and ability to travel for industry events and ecosystem engagements
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to earn trust with decision-makers
- Business acumen and the ability to argue with numbers, not adjectives
- Fluent English (C1/C2)
