Who You Are

As the Compliance Operations Manager, you support the management and execution of Inovalon’s Corporate Compliance Program from India, helping drive consistency, accountability, and strong operational execution across the Legal, Privacy and Compliance function. You coordinate compliance training, vendor oversight, audit support, policy governance, and reporting activities while partnering with stakeholders in both India and the United States. In this role, you strengthen documentation, follow-through, and visibility across key compliance operations that support the broader business and regulatory environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide operational support for the Corporate Compliance Program, including compliance training, vendor oversight, auditing and monitoring, policy governance, compliance documentation, and related activities.

• Support compliance training administration by tracking completion status, preparing follow-up reports, monitoring delinquency trends, maintaining supporting documentation, and coordinating reminders or escalations.

• Manage vendor oversight activities by scheduling and documenting vendor tiering meetings, maintaining tiering trackers, coordinating site audit logistics, collecting audit evidence, and tracking follow-up items through closure.

• Coordinate client, vendor, and third-party audit requests by overseeing documentation and evidence collection, managing deadlines, and following up on outstanding requests and corrective action items.

• Manage compliance program tracking and reporting, including dashboards, status reports, meeting documentation, and other management tools that provide visibility into compliance priorities, activities, and progress.

• Partner with U.S. and India-based stakeholders to support timely information gathering, issue escalation, documentation review, and completion of assigned compliance operations activities.

• Assist with periodic reviews of compliance policies, procedures, and control documents by tracking review cycles, compiling feedback, and maintaining version control and approval documentation.

• Lead the initial preparation of Compliance Committee materials, including drafting agendas, minutes, and follow-up trackers, and coordinating review and finalization with Compliance leadership.

• Identify operational gaps, overdue items, documentation deficiencies, and process inefficiencies, and drive escalation, follow-up, and resolution in coordination with Compliance leadership.

• Maintain awareness of applicable compliance processes and internal requirements to support consistent execution of compliance operations activities.

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal operations, privacy, audit, or a related field.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) or commensurate work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Experience managing compliance programs, policies, and internal controls.

• Strong project management and operational excellence skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Experience leading compliance investigations, risk assessments, audits, and remediation activities.

• Ability to partner effectively across global, cross-functional teams.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrate growth potential and learning agility by building knowledge of evolving compliance requirements, operational processes, and business needs, and applying that learning to improve execution and program outcomes.

• Demonstrate leadership by influencing cross-functional stakeholders, coordinating work across global teams, and driving accountability, follow-up, and resolution on compliance priorities.

• Demonstrate adaptability by managing shifting priorities, changing deadlines, and emerging compliance needs while maintaining strong execution and documentation quality.

• Demonstrate creative thinking by improving workflows, identifying practical solutions to operational gaps, and strengthening compliance processes, reporting, and oversight activities.

• Demonstrate analytical skills by interpreting trends, identifying deficiencies, assessing operational risks, and using data and evidence to support decisions and escalations.

• Nice to have: Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, privacy, or other regulated industries; knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, AI governance, and third-party risk management; experience supporting compliance operations in a global environment; familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance platforms such as OneTrust or similar tools.
