• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and test plan reviews with other engineers to improve software quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Support assigned integration, testing, and deployment activities to ensure successful delivery of software products and enhancements.

• Partner with product management to scope, estimate, and refine product enhancements and technical work.

• Troubleshoot and fix internal and customer-reported software defects by following defined processes and debugging best practices.

• Contribute to end of iteration demos, retrospectives, and continuous improvement efforts by identifying team impediments and helping resolve them.

• Write and maintain documentation covering program development, logic, code changes, testing, corrections, and related technical details.

• Participate in change management and on-call rotation responsibilities, including support for critical issues outside standard business hours in accordance with defined service expectations.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms; plus 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Advanced design, debugging, and coding skills.

• Ability to build secure applications and adhere to security standards.

• Strong understanding of software testing, scalability, and core software engineering principles.

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

• Demonstrated high personal integrity and the ability to earn trust from others.

• Demonstrate growth potential and learning agility by seeking feedback, continuously building expertise in technical domains, and applying new learning to improve engineering outcomes.

• Demonstrate leadership by collaborating effectively with engineers and product partners, contributing constructively in reviews, and helping the team remove impediments and improve delivery.

• Demonstrate adaptability by working effectively through changing business and technical scope while staying focused on quality and delivery commitments.

• Demonstrate creative thinking by anticipating problems, identifying practical solutions, and applying best practices to improve software design, testing, and team effectiveness.

• Demonstrate analytical skills by breaking down complex technical issues, using sound judgment in debugging and design, and making decisions grounded in evidence and engineering principles.

• Nice to have: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
