🏡 About Us

At eLEND, we are committed to delivering an exceptional mortgage experience through innovation, technology, operational excellence, and client-focused partnership. Our Compliance team plays a critical role in protecting the organization, supporting our Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs), and ensuring we meet licensing and regulatory requirements across the states in which we operate.

The Mortgage Licensing Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining company, branch, and individual MLO licensing through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS). This role oversees licensing applications, renewals, amendments, regulatory reporting, continuing education requirements, and related compliance activities.

This position serves as a key connection point between Compliance, Legal, Finance, Mortgage Loan Originators, and business leadership, helping ensure licensing requirements are met accurately, efficiently, and within regulatory deadlines.

✨ Why This Role Matters

As a Mortgage Licensing Analyst, you will help protect eLEND's ability to conduct mortgage lending operations while ensuring our company, branches, and MLOs remain appropriately licensed and authorized to do business.

You will manage licensing processes from beginning to end, monitor regulatory deadlines, maintain accurate NMLS records, and proactively identify potential compliance gaps before they impact operations.

Success means maintaining a proactive, accurate, organized, and compliant licensing function that supports business continuity, reduces regulatory risk, and provides a seamless experience for our MLOs and internal stakeholders.

⭐ How You'll Elevate the Experience

This role lives at the intersection of Own It and Be Curious.

Own It defines this position. Licensing deadlines are established by regulators, and missing a critical filing or renewal can prevent an MLO from originating loans or interrupt eLEND's ability to conduct business in a state. You will take accountability for maintaining accurate licensing records, anticipating deadlines, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring requirements are completed before they become operational risks. Ownership means not simply identifying an issue, but seeing it through to resolution.

Be Curious is equally essential. Mortgage licensing requirements vary by state, and regulatory expectations continue to evolve. You will actively research changes, ask thoughtful questions, challenge outdated processes, and seek opportunities to strengthen our licensing practices. Rather than waiting for regulatory changes to create problems, you will stay informed and help the organization prepare proactively.

Ultimately, you will help create a licensing function that is accurate, proactive, accountable, knowledgeable, and committed to protecting eLEND's ability to serve our clients while elevating the experience of our Mortgage Loan Originators and internal partners.
