Role Summary and Impact

As a Manager, eCommerce, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated eCommerce strategies across Amazon Retail, Performance Media and Data. Combining deep Amazon expertise with strong business acumen, you will connect Retail, Media and Data to identify growth opportunities, define cross-channel recommendations and guide investment decisions. You will act as a senior advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, coordinating specialist teams and ensuring consistent delivery across eCommerce, media, measurement and analytics workstreams.
The role is responsible for the strategic quality and business impact of the assigned eCommerce perimeter, translating complex data and market dynamics into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

• Define and scale Amazon Retail strategies by connecting retail growth levers, organic growth opportunities and media investment.
• Own the cross-channel eCommerce and media strategy for assigned clients or workstreams, translating Retail, Media and Data inputs into clear business recommendations.
• Develop executive-level presentations that communicate complex insights, strategic recommendations and investment scenarios to senior stakeholders.
• Shape Performance Media and Data strategies, including measurement approaches, modelling, ROAS forecasting and investment scenarios.
• Lead competitive, category and market analyses to identify growth opportunities, benchmark performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Define full-funnel strategies across Amazon Advertising and, where relevant, Google, Meta and TikTok.
• Guide media investment and budget allocation based on business objectives, growth opportunities, performance data and agreed priorities.
• Coordinate specialist teams and peers across Search, DSP, Retail and Data & Analytics, ensuring alignment on strategy, measurement, responsibilities and delivery priorities.
• Act as the primary eCommerce advisor for assigned stakeholders, aligning internal teams, clients and external partners.
• Take responsibility for the quality, consistency and timely delivery of assigned eCommerce strategies, recommendations and outputs.
• Identify and resolve complex issues across Retail, Media and Data, escalating only matters with broader strategic, commercial or organizational implications.
• Contribute to the improvement of eCommerce methodologies, processes, tools and best practices within the assigned client or business perimeter.
• Provide guidance, feedback and subject-matter expertise to specialist and junior colleagues involved in eCommerce delivery.
• 5+ years of professional experience across Amazon Retail and eCommerce, with deep knowledge of Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
• Strong Performance Media expertise, particularly across Amazon Advertising, with knowledge of Google, Meta and TikTok considered a strong advantage.
• Strong expertise in Data Strategy, Business Intelligence, measurement and forecasting, combined with strong commercial and business understanding.
• Proven ability to connect Retail, Media and Data and translate complex information into clear strategic recommendations.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams and coordinating specialists across different areas of expertise, without necessarily holding formal line-management responsibility for all contributors.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence decisions, manage expectations and establish credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to use technology and AI tools to improve analysis, communication and client outcomes.
• Knowledge of DTC eCommerce, TikTok Shop and the broader Retail Media landscape is considered a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
