About the Role
Build the US sales motion for an enterprise AI company automating system implementation and integration work. As the first US commercial hire, you will work closely with the founding team to win early customers, develop partner relationships, and shape the approach as the market grows.
What You'll Do
Own the full sales cycle, from self-sourced prospecting and discovery through technical evaluation, procurement, and close.
Sell directly to enterprise customers and develop relationships with systems integrators, value-added resellers, and consulting partners.
Build pipeline from the ground up by defining target accounts, testing positioning, and identifying segments that convert.
Lead demos and technical evaluations, translating AI workflows and system architecture for finance, IT, and operations buyers.
Navigate multi-stakeholder deals, including discussions with executive decision-makers.
Recruit, enable, and co-sell with partners, and document the sales playbook for future hires.
Share customer feedback with the founding team and grow into leading the US commercial team.
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of experience closing complex B2B software deals end to end, including self-sourced pipeline and deals of $50,000 or more in annual contract value.
Experience selling ERP, iPaaS, data integration, or data infrastructure platforms, such as NetSuite, SAP, Sage Intacct, Boomi, Workato, Celigo, or Fivetran.
Experience with multi-stakeholder sales involving finance, IT, operations, and C-suite buyers.
Experience building or co-selling through systems integrator, reseller, or consulting partner channels.
Ability to operate independently with limited sales and marketing support, and to discuss technical workflows with business and technical buyers.
Based in the United States and willing to travel to customer sites and occasionally to Munich. Founding AE experience at an early-stage AI or developer tools company is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range of $150,000 to $250,000, plus competitive early-hire equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Remote, based anywhere in the United States, with occasional travel to Munich.
