Role: Content Operations & Production Manager
Location: Arese, Milan (Italy)
Employment: permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a Content Operations & Production Manager to support the local Content & Production function for a leading consumer packaged goods manufacturer.
You will manage day-to-day content and production operations across TVC, digital, print, eCommerce, and shopper marketing. Working with marketers, media teams, creatives, and production partners, you will translate media plans and audience insights into clear content requirements, efficient workflows, and high-quality production delivery.
This is a content operations and production coordination role, focused on planning, briefing, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and delivery governance. While an understanding of content production is important, you will not be creating content yourself.

What You Will Be Doing
- Manage content order forms and production requests, ensuring requirements are clear, purposeful, and strategically aligned.
- Review content briefs for creative requirements, specifications, formats, timelines, budgets, media placement, audience targeting, and campaign objectives.
- Analyze media plans, audience insights, and performance data to identify content opportunities and gaps.
- Maintain asset matrices to ensure the right content is created for each channel and placement.
- Flag unclear, conflicting, or misaligned requests and escalate issues when strategic guidance is needed.
- Act as the primary operational contact for assigned production projects, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and timelines.
- Coordinate internal teams, clients, and production vendors to resolve bottlenecks and deliver work efficiently.
- Guide marketers through production workflows and support their use of BOS workflow technology.
- Help marketers strengthen brief writing and establish best-in-class briefing frameworks with content-at-scale partner leads.
- Support production planning with insights into vendor capabilities, costs, timelines, and production constraints.
- Recommend improvements to workflows, processes, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain knowledge of channel specifications, production best practices, and talent and usage rights.
What You Need to Be Great in This Role
- Solid experience in production management and content creation execution.
- Strong understanding of how media plans and specifications translate into production requirements.
- Experience delivering content across integrated marketing channels.
- Strong briefing, project management, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to interpret media, audience, and performance information to inform content decisions.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, identify risks, and escalate issues appropriately.
- A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
Please Note
- This is not a hands-on content creation role. We are not looking for copywriters, designers, social media managers, content creators, or candidates whose experience is primarily focused on producing creative assets themselves.
- The role is focused on planning, briefing, coordination, stakeholder management, vendor relationships, and ensuring content is delivered efficiently and effectively across multiple markets and channels.
