We are looking for an Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition across enterprise businesses in New Zealand. You will own complex sales cycles from targeted prospecting through agreement and onboarding, helping customers understand how the Snowflake AI Data Cloud can support their business and technology priorities.
AS AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, ENTERPRISE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
Build and execute a territory strategy, target-account plan, and regional sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual goals for the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.
Become a trusted advisor by understanding each customer’s business priorities, data estate, cloud strategy, and AI roadmap, then connecting those needs to Snowflake’s platform.
Lead executive and CxO conversations that position Snowflake as a strategic platform for data engineering, analytics, application development, collaboration, and AI.
Orchestrate complex sales cycles across customer stakeholders, Snowflake solution engineering, professional services, partners, marketing, and customer success.
Develop regional marketing and partner plans that generate qualified pipeline and accelerate new-logo growth.
Apply MEDDPICC to improve qualification, stakeholder alignment, deal strategy, and forecast accuracy.
Negotiate and close enterprise agreements, then support a smooth transition into onboarding and long-term adoption of Snowflake.
OUR IDEAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, ENTERPRISE WILL HAVE:
8+ years of relevant field sales experience, with a demonstrated record of selling complex data, cloud, or enterprise technology solutions.
A consistent record of generating new business, developing enterprise pipeline, and delivering against ambitious sales goals.
Proven ability to independently develop, manage, negotiate, and close complex new-client relationships.
Experience engaging executives and translating business and IT priorities into clear value propositions and commercial outcomes.
Strong discovery, presentation, listening, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Experience coordinating complex buying groups and aligning internal specialists around a customer outcome.
Practical experience using MEDDPICC or a comparable enterprise qualification methodology.
The judgement, resilience, curiosity, and ownership mindset needed to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment.
BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Enterprise sales experience within industries that are strategic to the New Zealand market.
Experience selling cloud platforms, data infrastructure, analytics, cybersecurity, or AI solutions.
Familiarity with Snowflake, major cloud providers, modern data architectures, and enterprise AI use cases.
Experience using AI-assisted workflows to improve account research, prospecting, deal preparation, and customer engagement.
