The role:

As the Head of User Growth, you will serve as an executive leader accountable for driving Truecaller’s global expansion engine. This will include organic growth using product optimisations as well as inorganic growth globally using advertising/distribution partnerships, etc.

At the intersection of Data Analytics, Performance Marketing, User Acquisition, and Product-Led Growth (PLG), you will architect scalable growth strategies, establish global playbooks, and lead cross-functional expansion of our platform.

This executive position requires a seasoned leader with 10+ years of total industry leadership experience in growing consumer apps globally.

What you’ll do:

Executive Ownership

End-to-End User Growth: Own the global growth budget and P&L, balancing performance marketing with product-led viral loops to optimize contribution margin, payback periods, and LTV—not vanity metrics.
Cross-Disciplinary Integration: Align Performance Marketing, Mobile Measurement Partners (MMP) analytics, Monetization, Product Growth, and User Acquisition with corporate goals.
Team Scaling & Leadership: Mentor and scale the existing team consisting of cross-functional people.
Global Market Playbooks: Build repeatable market-entry frameworks to unlock new international regions (LATAM, SEA, US, Europe) while driving incrementality across established markets.
Obsess over metrics that drive user growth in each country
Experiment with ideas that could change growth trajectory
Monitor and optimise user acquisition spend
Create flows / optimise product areas that can yield accelerated user growth and revenue growth

What you bring in:

10+ years of total professional leadership experience, with demonstrated leadership across Data Analytics, Performance Marketing, User Acquisition (UA), Retention, and Product Management.
Proven experience growing a consumer app in India as well as globally
Hands-on Mastery of Analytics & UA: Deep technical knowledge of cohort economics, incrementality testing, attribution modelling, etc.
Executive Leadership: Track record of building, scaling, and managing multi-disciplinary growth organisations at a Senior Director/VP level.
Ability to synthesise complex analytical insights into clear, actionable strategies for executive stakeholders and board members.
Strong business judgment when evaluating incrementality tests, marketing spend, and attribution data.
Approachable, collaborative leadership style that thrives in an international, multi-cultural setting.

It would be great if you have:

Experience scaling a consumer app from early growth to significant scale, or successfully taking a product through a 0-to-1 growth phase.
Direct experience scaling consumer products across multiple countries, particularly in emerging and established international markets.
Prior experience in a product-led technology company or high-growth startup.
Exposure to subscription, advertising or other consumer-app monetisation models.
Experience using AI and automation to improve growth efficiency, experimentation or decision-making.
