[What you will be working on]
As Senior Product Manager for GovTech's Agentic Ecosystem, you will own Console capabilities enabling authorised agents to safely take action across products. Responsibilities include defining roadmaps, partnering with engineering and operations to design guardrails and audit trails, and leading discovery to ensure agents complete end-to-end journeys successfully.GovTech is the lead agency driving Singapore's Smart Nation initiative and digital transformation in the public sector.
DPS programme is building the Central Product Marketplace, the platform where agencies discover, evaluate, subscribe to and run GovTech's central products. We are also exploring how solution agents can help agencies turn problem statements into working digital solutions.
We already have early examples of agents helping teams configure and use digital products through natural-language requests. The next challenge is making it possible for authorised agents to take action across the product lifecycle through Console.
What you'll own
You'll own the Console capabilities that let authorised agents take safe, auditable action across GovTech products on a user's behalf. You will start with a live use case, learn from it, and expand the approach as it proves its value.
The teams responsible for identity, shared agent infrastructure, engineering standards and operational observability own the pieces these capabilities depend on. You will work closely with them to unblock dependencies and keep priority journeys moving. Success means an agent can complete a real journey from start to finish.
You are expected to
-
Own the roadmap for the Console capabilities agents need. Start with the journeys that matter most. Prioritise and build progressively.
-
Define and validate the minimum viable scope before committing to build: what matters for early use cases, and what can wait.
-
Run structured discovery with partner product teams to understand what a solution agent needs from Console to complete a real journey.
-
Set outcome measures for the journeys these capabilities enable, including whether an agent can complete a priority journey from start to finish.
-
Track adoption, reliability and the time needed to enable new capabilities.
-
Design the guardrails for these capabilities: which actions require explicit human approval, and how agent activity is audited. Work with identity and operations partners to get this right.
-
Work with engineering partners on a clear, reusable way for product teams to make their capabilities available to agents. Where a priority journey breaks across product boundaries, spot the gap early and work with the accountable partner to fix it.
You do this by
-
Partnering hands-on with product teams to identify what an agent needs next, and shipping that first, rather than building the full solution speculatively.
-
Tracking early journeys from day one, so usage, failures, approval requests and hand-offs to partner capabilities are measurable, not assumed.
-
Bringing clear product requirements, not coordination requests, to platform partners so agents can use Console reliably.
-
Communicating progress and trade-offs clearly to your product leadership, especially where your roadmap depends on a partner team's timeline.
You'll ultimately be responsible for making it possible for authorised agents to safely subscribe, provision and operate GovTech products through Console, one capability at a time.
[What we are looking for]
You have:
-
5 to 10 years in product management. Years of experience are a rough guideline.
-
You have owned a product area from problem framing through to shipped, measured outcomes, ideally involving APIs or platform capabilities used by other teams or systems, not just end users.
-
Strong product sense, particularly around scoping a minimum viable capability set and validating it with real usage before expanding.
-
Comfortable with ambiguity. This is new territory, and you can make sensible calls before every detail is settled.
-
You communicate clearly in writing and in person, and are comfortable working with product, platform and operations partners.
-
Prior experience with APIs, access control, or building for machine and agent consumers is a strong plus.
