About the Role
Join an early-stage freight technology team building AI-powered products for sea and air freight operations. This hands-on role combines customer engagement with full-stack engineering, helping shape product and technical direction while taking solutions from demos to production-ready systems.
What You'll Do
Lead customer conversations and turn operational insights into product features and technical strategy.
Design and build full-stack applications using the team's web and backend technologies.
Advance AI capabilities through practical LLM patterns, vector stores, and model fine-tuning.
Move prototypes and demos toward scalable, reliable, high-quality production products.
Make thoughtful architecture decisions suited to an early-stage environment.
Help shape the product, technology, and company direction.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
Full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React, plus backend development with Python.
Hands-on experience with LLM design patterns, vector stores, and model fine-tuning; experience with vector databases or semantic search is relevant.
Broad product engineering experience across the application stack, including designing, building, and deploying products from MVP through production.
Ability to lead customer conversations and translate feedback into product requirements.
Experience in a startup or early-stage environment and sound judgment about balancing speed, quality, and architecture.
