About the Role
Join an early-stage industrial energy management company as its founding sales hire. You will own new business and account growth for a live, AI-powered platform that helps industrial companies manage energy procurement, consumption, and costs.
What You'll Do
Close new business with industrial companies across the DACH region, from upper-mid-market firms to large enterprises.
Own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and discovery through demos, business cases, pilots, procurement, security review, and contract signature.
Build and manage relationships across buying committees, including energy, plant operations, finance, IT, and executive stakeholders.
Create your own pipeline through thoughtful outreach in German and English, events, and partner channels.
Grow signed accounts through additional use cases, sites, and cross-sells, and develop customers into references.
Share market and customer feedback with the founders and product team to inform pricing, product direction, and ideal customer profiles.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of B2B sales experience, including 2 or more years with full-cycle closing responsibility.
Experience closing complex, technical enterprise or upper-mid-market deals with multiple stakeholders and six-figure annual contract values.
A track record of building outbound pipeline and selling through long sales cycles.
Experience selling at an early-stage startup without established sales playbooks.
Strong German and English communication skills and the ability to engage industrial buyers.
Compensation & Benefits
OTE is €107,000 to €143,000 annually, with a 60/40 base and variable split and equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.
