The Senior Key Account Manager for Appliances & TV is a strategic commercial role dedicated to driving the growth, revenue, and market share of Jumia’s home appliances and television portfolio (including major domestic appliances, small kitchen appliances, and home entertainment systems). Acting as the primary commercial link, this role is responsible for managing high-value relationships with top global brands, distributors, and vendors. By analyzing appliance market trends and securing competitive pricing and stock availability, the Senior KAM ensures that Jumia remains the preferred destination for electronics and home appliance consumers.
What you will be doing:

Vendor & Account Management: Manage key accounts, top brands, and distributors within the Appliances & TV category to build strong, long-lasting commercial partnerships.

Commercial Growth: Develop and implement category-specific commercial strategies to scale sales volume, maximize revenue, and grow Jumia's Appliances & TV category market share.

Campaign Execution: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and execute high-impact promotional campaigns (e.g., Tech Week, Black Friday, Brand Days, etc.) tailored to electronics and home appliance consumers.

Market Analysis: Analyze sales data, stock turn, and appliance market trends to identify growth opportunities, gap assortments, and competitive pricing strategies.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on core category metrics, including GMV, stock health/inventory levels, and vendor operational fulfillment.

Commercial Negotiations: Lead commercial negotiations to secure exclusive product launches, best-in-market pricing, and optimal margin contributions from appliance and TV vendors.

Vendor Support: Provide proactive business support to key Appliances & TV category partners, resolving operational bottlenecks and tracking their growth on the platform.

Appliances & TV Industry Expertise: Stay deeply updated on global and local appliance trends, upcoming product releases (e.g., Smart TVs, energy-efficient appliances), competitor positioning, and shifting consumer electronics preferences.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with operations, logistics, and content teams to ensure seamless inbound scheduling, stock availability, and high-quality product listings.
What we are looking for:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Professional Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven commercial or account management experience, ideally within e-commerce, consumer electronics, or major home appliances industries.

Category Expertise: A strong understanding of the Appliances & TV category, including deep knowledge of technical specifications (display tech, capacity, energy ratings), brand positioning, and consumer electronics market dynamics.

Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Sharp commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to secure premium deals with major appliance and electronics brands.

Analytical Capabilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data tools to monitor inventory health, sales targets, and market trends.

Strategic & Results-Driven: Ability to think strategically and execute actionable commercial plans that consistently drive category GMV and growth.
