Job Description

BIM Leads must understand the business thoroughly; their primary function is to manage the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract documents accurately. This encompasses managing a team of production professionals and technicians and own the vetting of construction-documents through as-built submittals.

It is also critical for this position to lead model management and BIM planning, collaboration, and coordination on projects they are overseeing. The position becomes the go-to person on the project for modeling, documentation and verifying design intent during preconstruction and construction phases.

As well as the requirements below, this position is targeted to fill a need for an experienced Revit user to work with our prefabrication team. WPI specializes in prefabricated exterior wall panels and 3D modular rooms. The selected candidate will be expected to have advanced user knowledge of Revit, experience with a wall framing add-in such as Strucsoft or AgaCAD, and modelling experience that includes cold formed steel, hot rolled steel, and architectural finishes.
