Career Opportunity: Clinical Services Responder in the Tri-State of Kentucky and Surrounding Regions

 

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful, life-changing impact through organ donation? In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to evaluate potential donors, coordinate critical care and support, guide hospital professionals through time-sensitive decisions, and help maximize opportunities for successful donation. This position is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented healthcare professional who thrives in fast-paced, sensitive, and highly collaborative environments.

 

As a Clinical Services Responder, you will respond to referred potential organ donors, review medical records and clinical information, determine donation suitability under organizational and regulatory guidelines, and provide timely information to donor-hospital professionals. You will also document required donor information, assess family and hospital support needs, identify the legal next-of-kin, and assist with specimen collection and labeling requirements. This position reports to the Manager of Recovery Services and works across hospital clinical settings.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work 12-hour shifts and outside normal business hours, respond promptly to dispatches, and travel to assigned sites. The role requires work in office and hospital settings, frequent sitting and typing, occasional physical activity, lifting up to 75 pounds, and assisting with donor transfers.
