Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
Join the front-end fabrics team and help shape the next generation of enterprise hardware platforms and software-defined data-center infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of hardware, operating systems, storage, networking, and distributed systems—solving complex problems that directly influence how customers deploy, operate, and scale their environments.
This is an opportunity to own meaningful work across the full platform lifecycle: from early hardware bring-up and system validation through manufacturing release, customer deployment, upgrades, and fleet-level reliability. You will partner closely with hardware engineers, system architects, OS developers, and customers to turn ambitious platform requirements into robust, supportable products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive differentiated value from new hardware platforms by shaping architecture and design requirements that improve performance, scalability, and fleet-level efficiency—from early bring-up through manufacturing release, deployment, upgrades, and operations.
- Design, implement, debug, and deliver user-space software in C and C++ across storage protocols, networking, and data-center architectures.
- Develop and improve remote server-management capabilities using industry standards such as Redfish.
- Design and enhance Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) features that make platforms easier to operate, diagnose, recover, and maintain at scale.
- Build and maintain software components and engineering tools in C, C++, Python, Go, and Rust.
- Work hands-on with hardware platforms during bring-up, system-level debugging, validation, customer delivery, and production support.
- Partner with hardware engineers, system architects, and operating-system developers to define specifications, review designs, and ensure seamless hardware–software integration.
- Collaborate with customers and technology partners to understand requirements, resolve complex issues, and follow solutions through to successful delivery.
- Lead technical initiatives and influence project direction across multiple engineering teams.
- Improve engineering practices, automation, observability, and operational readiness across the platform lifecycle.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- A B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++, including object-oriented design and modern C++ standards (C++11 or later).
- Strong Python skills for build and test automation, lab tooling, diagnostics, and system validation.
- Experience with Go and/or Rust is a plus.
- Strong interest in storage and networking protocols, data-center hardware, and distributed systems.
- A desire to investigate problems deeply at the intersection of hardware and software.
- Experience leading teams, technical initiatives, or projects across organizational boundaries.
- Hands-on experience with hardware platforms, including requirements feedback, bring-up, system-level debugging, customer delivery, and production support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience shipping or supporting enterprise-class, x86-based appliances.
- Experience with storage or networking protocols and technologies such as NVMe, Ethernet-based fabrics, or related data-center architectures.
- Experience designing for reliability, availability, serviceability, observability, and non-disruptive upgrades.
- Experience working with distributed systems and managing complexity across large-scale deployments.
- Experience building automated test infrastructure, hardware labs, or fleet-scale diagnostics.
WHY THIS ROLE
- End-to-end ownership: See your work move from early platform concepts to customer deployments and production fleets.
- Deep technical challenges: Solve problems where hardware behavior, operating systems, networking, storage, and distributed systems meet.
- Broad influence: Shape platform specifications and engineering decisions across hardware and software teams.
- Customer impact: Work directly on capabilities that make enterprise infrastructure more reliable, easier to operate, and simpler to scale.
- A culture of learning: Build expertise across the full stack while working with engineers who enjoy going deep and solving hard problems together.
