• What’s in it for you?

  Opportunity To Unlock Your Creativity
Think of all the times you were held back from trying new ideas because you were boxed in by bureaucratic legacy processes or old school tactics. Having a growth mindset is deeply ingrained into our company culture since day 1 so Fictiv is an environment where you have the creative liberty and support of the team to try big bold ideas to achieve our sales and customer goals.

  Impact In This Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist with financial planning and budgeting, analyze financial statements and be responsible for the support and maintenance of our FP&A and Accounting systems, build and validate multiple reports for the Finance teams, make sure various integrations are supported and maintained, and keep up-to-date knowledge of system needs for customization and integration. The ideal candidate is passionate about Fictiv, has strong financial knowledge and analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will have the opportunity to interact with multiple finance and technical teams across Fictiv, providing a broad exposure to the business. This is a senior role: we're looking for someone who can shape how Finance and Business Applications work together, not just operate within the systems and processes already in place.

You will report to the Manager FP&A.

  What You’ll Be Doing

  • Be responsible for the support, planning, analysis, and delivery of our key financial tools, as well as running and maintaining their integration with other Fictiv’s systems.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the planning tools are up and running and to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Assist with the recurring forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close.
  • Automate data retrieval tasks via reports & dashboards.
  • Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new systems and new reports and administer those reports going forward.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of existing business application architecture, including integrations and data structures.
  • Assess and standardize financial processes across all global regions and entities, accounting for local requirements, and ensure they are supported consistently in NetSuite and the planning tools
  • Identify the data needs for Financial tasks and communicate with Data teams and other business partners to close the gaps.
  • Troubleshoot problems that Finance’s teams encounter with Fictiv’s tools and systems, including but not limited to the planning tools, NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, and Sigma.
  • Interface with external software vendors for product issues, troubleshooting and resolution; initiating Service Requests (SR's) as necessary with other 3rd Party Vendors.
  • Liaise and act as representative for Fictiv FP&A to other systems teams within the organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered around existing systems.

  Desired Traits

  • This is a senior-level role. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of driving change in cross-functional financial systems and processes — not simply executing within existing workflows and constraints, or finding workarounds within them. This means having personally identified a broken financial process, built the business case for a fix grounded in financial impact, pushed back where needed, and seen it through to a resolution with a systems or technology team. Candidates who can only operate within existing systems and processes are not a fit for this role.
  • 8+ years in a similar role, with a proven record of operating at a senior level — preferred at a technology or manufacturing related business.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Required experience with implementation and management of financial planning systems such as Hyperion/ NSPB or Anaplan.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Oracle ERP systems (required); experience with Salesforce, Odoo, Sigma (desirable).
  • Ability to translate financial and business processes into ERP system design — understanding not just what the finance process should be, but how to map it to the actual system setup.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations and inter-company dynamics, with the ability to map that to financial processes — grasping the operational realities specific to the business well enough to design the right financial process.
  • Has served as a system owner or administrator for an ERP or FP&A platform — not just a power user or requester of changes — with experience leading a system implementation or major upgrade end-to-end, from requirements through go-live.
  • Track record of partnering directly with IT/Business Applications leadership to shape system design decisions, and comfortable presenting recommendations and trade-offs to senior finance and business leaders — including pushing back on requests that don't hold up.
  • Skills in tools for efficiently querying large databases.
  • Expertise with MS Office suite and G. suite.
  • Understanding of Financial Statements and Finance and Accounting principles.
  • Extremely organized with the ability to work on and manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn, strong sense of accountability, and a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Must work well under pressure, be sensitive to deadlines, be able to interact in a team environment, be able to adapt quickly to change, and possess excellent analytical, problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate solutions for system issues to the stakeholders.

We’re actively seeking teammates who:

• Bring diverse perspectives and experience to our culture and company.
• Excel at being part of a strong, empathetic team.
• Thrive in an environment emphasizing respect, honesty, collaboration, and growth.
• Have an ‘always learning’ mindset that celebrates learning, not just wins.
• Help us continue to build a world-class organization that values the contributions of all of our teammates

We encourage applications from members of underrepresented groups, including but not limited to women, members of the LGBTQ community, people of color, people with disabilities, and veterans.
