At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.

Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”

Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.

The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.

About the Role

Commure's finance team is rebuilding revenue accounting from the ground up, and this role is the architect of that rebuild. We're creating a brand-new Manager, Revenue Accounting & Deal Operations position to do two things at once: stand up our deal desk function from scratch, and modernize the technical infrastructure that supports revenue recognition across a fast-growing, multi-product healthcare technology business.

This isn't a maintain-the-status-quo role. Building the process, the playbooks, and the cross-functional muscle memory with Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations that doesn't yet exist at scale. In parallel, you'll partner with our broader revenue accounting team on close, reconciliations, and audit support, and you'll have real influence over which tools and automation we adopt to get there. Our finance team invests aggressively in emerging finance technology, and you'll have the opportunity to engage in the debate and build out around how AI and automation should change the way revenue accounting and deal desk work gets done.

If you want to build something from a blank page rather than inherit a finished process, and you want a direct hand in shaping how a scaling, IPO-track company runs deal desk and revenue accounting, this is that seat.

What You’ll Do

Revenue Accounting Transformation & Technical Accounting-

Modernize revenue accounting processes: Transform the revenue accounting lifecycle, from contract review through revenue recognition, with a focus on scalability, automation, and IPO-ready internal controls.

Lead technical accounting assessments: Research complex accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memos under ASC 606, covering multi-element arrangements, complex contracts, and non-standard deal structures.

Develop and maintain accounting policies: Establish, maintain, and enhance revenue recognition policies to ensure consistent application across an expanding and diversifying product portfolio.

Technology & Automation-

Drive technology adoption: Evaluate and implement revenue automation solutions and AI-enabled finance tools to reduce manual effort, and revenue accounting workflows, and improve accuracy and efficiency.

Operational Revenue Accounting

Support monthly and quarterly close: Collaborate on revenue close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, deferred revenue analysis, and account-level reviews, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Strengthen financial controls: Support external audits and develop scalable, SOX-compliant processes that promote accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Partner with FP&A: Support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis by providing accurate, well-documented accounting inputs and clear explanations of revenue trends.

Compliance & Audit-

Support external financial audits: Prepare schedules and supporting documentation requested by auditors (PBC schedules), respond to revenue-related inquiries, and ensure audit requirements are met accurately and on time.

Drive IPO readiness: Strengthen revenue recognition policies, process documentation, and internal controls to align with public-company reporting and compliance expectations.

What You Have-

  1. 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in Revenue Recognition, Revenue Accounting, or Technical Accounting within a high-growth or complex business environment.

  3. Proven experience reviewing and assessing complex customer contracts, including multi-element arrangements, non-standard commercial terms, contract modifications, variable consideration, and performance obligations to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment.

  4. Hands-on experience managing revenue accounting activities, including contract assessments, revenue recognition analysis, deferred revenue, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end or quarter-end close.

  5. Experience preparing technical accounting memos, documenting accounting judgments, and establishing consistent revenue recognition policies and procedures.
