The Role:
The Marketing Director will lead the development and execution of Piermont Bank's integrated marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, content, partnerships, and events.
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this highly visible role will partner closely with executive leadership and business line leaders to drive awareness, client acquisition, and growth across Piermont's commercial banking, fintech, embedded banking, and treasury management businesses.
The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B marketing leader who can balance strategic thinking with strong execution. They will be responsible for enhancing an established marketing function, optimizing performance across channels, elevating the Piermont brand, and delivering measurable business results. This individual is equally comfortable developing strategy, collaborating across teams, and rolling up their sleeves to execute high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and client acquisition across Piermont's target markets.
- Partner with business leaders to support growth objectives across commercial banking, treasury management, lending, deposits, and embedded banking solutions.
- Strengthen and evolve Piermont's brand positioning as a leading technology-enabled commercial bank and trusted fintech partner.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives across email, social media, webinars, search, content marketing, and other growth channels.
- Develop compelling content, thought leadership, client success stories, and executive visibility programs that enhance Piermont's market presence.
- Measure campaign performance, marketing effectiveness, and ROI, using data and insights to continuously optimize results.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and marketing budgets to maximize impact and efficiency.
- Collaborate with compliance, business units, and external partners to ensure effective and compliant marketing execution.
- Lead the strategy and execution for events, sponsorships, partnerships, conferences, and client engagement initiatives.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, industry trends, and innovative marketing approaches that support growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- 8-12+ years of marketing leadership experience in financial services, fintech, B2B SaaS, or commercial banking.
- Proven experience building integrated marketing programs that drive measurable revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital acquisition, CRM, content strategy, and performance marketing.
- Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
The hiring range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
