POSITION
The Chain Account Manager (all genders) is responsible for the performance and development of an assigned portfolio of regional and global hotel chains across North America.
The position is based in São Paulo, Brazil, with responsibility for regional and global hotel chain partnerships across North America.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. Working within the broader Americas Supplier Solutions strategy, the Program Manager translates strategic priorities into concrete initiatives with assigned chain partners and owns their execution and results.
A key part of the role is hands-on performance management and operational problem-solving. The Program Manager uses data to identify performance gaps, engages the right stakeholders within the chain and HRS, and drives corrective actions through to resolution.
As the primary HRS contact for assigned chains in North America, the Program Manager builds relationships across the partner organization – from operational teams to senior leadership – and leverages those relationships to improve performance, implement HRS initiatives and create sustainable value for our corporate customers, chain partners and HRS.
The role covers the end-to-end HRS Stay – Work – Pay value proposition and reports directly to the VP Supplier Solutions Americas.
CHALLENGE
Own chain performance and execution
Manage the performance of an assigned portfolio of regional and global hotel chains across North America.
Translate Americas Supplier Solutions priorities into clear partner-specific action plans and drive their execution.
Monitor chain and property-level KPIs, identify performance gaps and prioritize where action is required.
Investigate operational issues, identify root causes and mobilize the appropriate chain and HRS stakeholders to resolve them.
Drive resolution of issues related to areas such as availability, rates, content, connectivity, payment and service performance, engaging individual properties when needed.
Maintain ownership of open actions through completion and measure whether interventions deliver the expected improvement.
Drive strategic and commercial initiatives
Execute strategic initiatives with assigned chains across the HRS portfolio.
Drive chain participation in sourcing and RFP initiatives and support the implementation of agreed conditions across participating properties.
Accelerate adoption and implementation of HRS solutions, commercial models and new initiatives within assigned chains.
Prepare and conduct commercial discussions and negotiations within the overall Americas supplier strategy and commercial framework.
Understand partner economics and identify opportunities to create incremental value for HRS customers, chain partners and HRS.
Bring chain insights, recurring issues and market developments back into the broader Americas Supplier Solutions strategy.
Build effective chain partnerships
Build strong relationships across assigned chain organizations.
Develop a deep understanding of each chain’s organization, priorities and operating model to navigate it effectively and accelerate execution.
Position HRS as a trusted, pragmatic and value-creating partner through strong business understanding, responsiveness and delivery.
Act as the primary HRS contact for assigned chains in North America, coordinating internal experts and global stakeholders as required.
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
Previous hotel industry experience is required, preferably within hotel sales, account management, revenue management, distribution or corporate RFPs.
Strong knowledge of the corporate hotel RFP lifecycle, including solicitation, rate loading, submissions, negotiations, acceptance and implementation.
Understanding of hotel distribution, including CRS/GDS connectivity, rate and content loading, availability and channel performance.
A strong hands-on mentality and the willingness to dive into operational detail and drive issues through to resolution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into priorities, actions and measurable outcomes.
Excellent execution discipline, organization and follow-through across multiple partners, initiatives and open issues.
Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels – understanding the broader business objective while translating it into practical action.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership.
Experience working effectively across complex, cross-functional and international organizations.
High degree of ownership, independence, proactivity and assertiveness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

The position is based in São Paulo, Brazil, with working hours aligned to support our North American business and partners.
Remuneration is competitive and includes a fixed salary, necessary work equipment and mobility, as well as annual or multi-year variable compensation.
