About the role:
We are looking for someone who knows where to find strong enterprise hunters, how to assess their track record, and how to negotiate offers within agreed compensation ranges. Your contribution will also extend beyond recruiting through People projects that connect hiring decisions with employee development, performance, and long-term team capability.
What you will do
Own end-to-end GTM hiring in Germany and senior leadership searches across Europe, including Enterprise Account Executives, commercial leaders, and senior roles across business functions. Take accountability for candidate quality, hiring speed, and outcomes.
Build targeted search strategies. Map relevant companies and talent pools, identify transferable experience, and engage candidates beyond inbound applications.
Assess commercial performance with rigor. Distinguish proven new-logo hunters from account managers and candidates whose results depend primarily on an established brand or territory. Evaluate individual revenue contribution, quota attainment, deal complexity, and ownership of the sales cycle.
Advise senior hiring leaders, including C-level. Clarify role scope and success criteria, challenge unrealistic requirements, and use market evidence to guide trade-offs on experience, compensation, and timing.
Lead compensation discussions and offer negotiations. Understand candidate expectations early, test them against market evidence and internal ranges, and build compelling offers. Maintain budget discipline and handle counteroffers without defaulting to higher pay to close a hire.
Use Ashby and market intelligence to improve hiring decisions. Monitor pipeline quality, conversion, and bottlenecks, and give leaders concise updates with clear recommendations.
Contribute to People projects across the employee lifecycle. Work with colleagues and business leaders to connect recruiting insights with assessment, development, performance, and organisational needs.
What we are looking for
A strong track record in GTM recruitment in Germany, ideally within B2B SaaS, technology, or enterprise services, including successful hires of enterprise hunters and commercial leaders.
Experience owning senior leadership searches across European markets, with credibility and sound judgment when working with executives and demanding hiring stakeholders.
Deep sourcing and market-mapping expertise. You can explain where you would search for a specific profile, why those talent pools are relevant, and how you would engage candidates who are not actively looking.
Commercial understanding. You know how enterprise sales teams operate and can distinguish persuasive interview performance from evidence of sustained results.
Strong offer negotiation skills. You have managed compensation expectations, counteroffers, and difficult closing conversations while protecting internal equity and agreed budgets.
Fluent German and English, with the ability to conduct candidate interviews, advise stakeholders, and negotiate offers confidently in both languages.
Confidence with recruiting systems, data, and process improvement, alongside curiosity about the broader employee lifecycle and how People decisions affect business performance.
