About Flint
Flint is the first self-improving system for performance marketing. We connect to brands' ad accounts and optimize them by instantly creating pages for each ad group and running a learning loop that continually improves conversions. We just signed a Fortune 10 customer, and within 48 hours their customer acquisition cost decreased by 50%. We're backed by Accel, SBVP, the venture fund of former Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg, and Neo.
Sandberg instantly understood Flint's vision. "I was sharing how it took five teams three months to build one A/B test just to increase conversion by 10% on our Google ad," Flint CEO Michelle Lim said. "And then she stopped me, [and] said, 'Michelle, it was 140 people at Meta who had to do this'." — TechCrunch
We envision a future where every business will have an autonomous digital marketer that responds to real-world signals, like competitive shifts, user behavior, and trending search queries, the way an autonomous vehicle responds to road conditions and traffic.
About the team
Flint is led by co-founders Michelle Lim, who went from Engineer #1 to Head of Growth and Product at Warp, and Max Levenson, an engineering leader at autonomous vehicle startup Nuro and then Engineer #2 at Vooma (YC S23). Most of our team has founded a company or been a founding engineer, so you’ll be working with people who’ve built from zero before.
About the role
As an Engagement Manager, you’re the face of Flint to our customers and the voice of the customer inside Flint. We work with brands that spend millions on ads, and every one of them wants more growth from their ad spend. You’re the one who gets them there. You own a set of accounts from kickoff through renewal. You learn each business, set its strategy, run pilots and experiments hands-on in Flint’s ads and page agents, and walk marketing teams and executives through the results. You’ll know what’s working within days instead of months.
You’ll hear customers’ pain points first, and you’ll help turn them into new things our agent can do. Over time, the way you run your accounts becomes the way Flint runs growth for every brand we work with. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and work closely with the CEO, Sales team, Product, Marketing, and Engineering.
What you'll do
Own 20 to 30 customer accounts as their main point of contact
Run pilots from kickoff to readout and conversion, including setup, tracking, and success metrics
Build an account plan for each customer, covering goals, conversion, and what to test next
Work hands-on in each account, reviewing the agent’s landing pages, keywords, and ads before they ship
Design and read experiments, and explain the results to customers
Lead check-ins, readouts, and escalations with marketing teams and executives
Work with product, engineering, and sales to keep each account on track
Bring customer pain points back to the team, and turn repeated manual work into agent improvements and our engagement playbook
