JOB BOARD TITLE: Wanted: Professional High-Fiver & Part-Time Superhero (Behavior Technician) Let’s be honest. The corporate 9-to-5 world is a simulation filled with people talking about "synergy" and replying "as per my last email." If you would rather jump out a window than look at another spreadsheet, we have a proposition for you. We are looking for an in-person Behavior Technician who is ready to skip the small talk and dive headfirst into meaningful, beautifully chaotic human development. The Mission Parameters
- The VIP Client: A spectacular 7-year-old female who has a lot to say (she is verbal!) but struggles with some moderate-to-severe behavioral roadblocks. She needs a guide, a boundary-setter, and an absolute champion.
- The Drop Zone: Direct, in-person therapy sessions taking place inside the client’s Home over in Yorktown Heights, NY (Zip Code: 10598).
- The Universal Translator: You must speak fluent Spanish. Understanding the complex psychological motivations of a child who operates on her own wavelengths is a major plus.
- Data Overlord: You will track behaviors with clinical precision. Yes, you will technically be getting paid to count how many times a seven-year-old attempts to test gravity.
- Professional Hype-Person: You will celebrate small victories like they are Olympic gold medals. Did she transition from playing to eating dinner without a meltdown? Cue the confetti.
- The Strategic Clock: You’ll be locking down 25 hours per week, with sessions taking place entirely after 4:00 PM.
- Can maintain the calm aura of a yoga instructor while surrounded by a whirlwind of big feelings.
- Has a background in psychology, special education, or is just the designated "kid magnet" in their social circle.
- Understands that progress isn't a straight line—it's a squiggle.
