About Great Question:

Great Question is the all-in-one AI customer research platform for understanding your customers. Our platform enables teams to recruit participants, run research, and share insights – all in one place. Backed by world-class investors and trusted by industry-leading teams like Gusto, Experian, Canva, and Brex, we’re building the future of customer research.

We believe AI is a multiplier for creativity, speed, and scale. Everyone on the team is encouraged to lean into AI, not just to be more efficient, but to push boundaries and unlock new possibilities. Whether you’re writing, designing, coding, or analyzing, we expect you to explore how AI can elevate your craft.

Our culture is built on high trust, high agency, and high emotional intelligence. If you’re looking for a place where your voice matters, where work is fun, and where you're empowered to do your best - join us in redefining user research 🚀

About This Role:

You’ll be a Product Manager owning a strategic area of Great Question with a team of 3–4 engineers. We’ll give you a clear outcome to move. Figuring out the bets that get us there, and the near-term roadmap for your area, is your job. You’ll work alongside two other strong PMs and a product designer, and report to our Head of Product. It’s an individual contributor role, remote in North America with Pacific-hours overlap.

Here’s the kind of problem you might own. Research is a chain of multi-step workflows – recruiting, scheduling, running sessions, synthesis. We want that chain simple and reliable enough that a builder, or an agent working for them, can run it end to end in a flexible way. That’s harder than it sounds.

In your first three months, you’ll take over an area tied to our strategy, ship a few meaningful things with your team, and find out whether they worked.

What this role isn’t: managing a backlog or running process. You’ll move between strategy and execution all the time, and you’ll own the results your area is meant to drive.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  1. Find the bet. Dig through product data and customer signals – support chats, sales asks, your own research – and come back with a strong hypothesis about what will move your outcome.

  2. Shape it. Sometimes that means scoping the problem carefully. Sometimes it means skipping straight to a prototype. Part of the job is knowing which. Then decide what happens now, later or never.

  3. Ship it well. Keep the team organized and motivated, and stay close enough to the details that it ships on time and to a high bar.

  4. Release it. Run the launch and make sure Sales, Success and Marketing know what’s coming and have what they need.

  5. Learn from it. Watch what happens, then decide whether to double down, iterate or stop.

About You:

You’ll thrive here if you’re:

Bonus points

This is a fun problem for product people

If you’ve been a PM or designer for a while, you’ve shipped something without enough customer signal and wondered afterward if you got it right. That’s the problem we work on.

You’ll get to throw the newest AI capabilities at it, and a lot of what we’re building wasn’t possible a year ago. Nobody has figured out how builders can seamlessly incorporate customer signal into the dozens of decisions they make each week. It is a real chance to innovate.

How we work

We’re a small, senior team. You’ll own an area end to end, and we care more about what changed for customers than about what shipped.

Product, design and engineering work closely together, and everyone stays close to customers. We’re remote, so we write things down and lean on async.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:
