CNA- Home Health Aide at BAYADA Home Health Care

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA has an immediate opening for a daytime Per Diem Home Health Aide CNA to provide home health visits for our MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA Office in Florence/ Marion, SC. This position requires a South Carolina CNA license and reliable transportation to go see multiple patients per day in their home setting. This would be approximately 10 visits weekly. As a home health care CNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

Have at least one year of work experience
Must be listed on the SC Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
Have a criminal background check completed
Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :

Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Nail care
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Oral feeding
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
