PAYROLL SPECIALIST 

Human Resources  |  Full-Time  |  Non-Exempt INTRO

POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Payroll Specialist supports accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for a complex, multi-state, and multi-location organization. This position partners closely with the Payroll Manager, Human Resources, Finance, and operational leaders to maintain payroll accuracy, resolve employee and system issues, support compliance, and continuously improve payroll processes and controls.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

This role operates primarily in a professional office environment and routinely uses a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, communicate, and use a computer for extended periods. The employee must occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions of the position. 

 

POSITION TYPE & SCHEDULE 

This is a full-time position. Additional hours may be required during payroll processing, quarter-end, year-end, acquisitions, system implementations, or other periods of increased business activity.
