We're looking for a scientifically curious Senior Medical Writer to join an established publications account supporting a growing portfolio of solid tumour therapies.

This is an exciting time to join the team. One of the products in the portfolio has recently received approval.

You will be part of a portfolio at a genuinely important stage of development. You will work on potentially practice-changing medicines while learning from an experienced team of medical communications experts.

The opportunity

As a Senior Medical Writer, you'll contribute within the publications team, communicating emerging and established clinical evidence to the scientific and medical community.

Reporting to a Scientific Team Director, you'll work with experienced scientific and account colleagues. You'll also collaborate with clients and external experts to develop high-quality publications and strategic materials.

You'll have:

Oncology experience is highly desirable, particularly experience in solid tumours. Experience across areas such as lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, breast cancer or colorectal cancer would be particularly relevant.

Above all, we're looking for a scientific communicator who is passionate about improving patients' lives. These are potentially practice-changing medicines, and we want someone who is excited by the opportunity to play a part in communicating the evidence behind them.

Why join Ashfield MedComms?

This is more than an opportunity to work on publications.

You'll join an experienced, collaborative team at an exciting point in the development of a growing oncology portfolio. You'll have the opportunity to learn from people with years of expertise in medical communications while building your own scientific, strategic and client-facing capabilities.

As the account grows, so will your opportunities to progress and develop your career.

Benefits include:

If you're looking for a role where you can do meaningful work, develop your expertise and contribute to communications around medicines that could change the standard of care, we'd love to hear from you.
