Our mission is to deliver reliable and secure data center and power infrastructure to strengthen America's future.

Founded in 2019, SB Energy is a SoftBank Group company headquartered in Redwood City, California. SB Energy develops, builds, owns, and operates some of the largest and most technically advanced energy and data center infrastructure projects in the United States. Since its founding, the company has rapidly grown into a top-tier integrated platform with more than 3 gigawatts (GW) in operation and a multi-GW pipeline of energy and data center infrastructure nationwide.

SB Energy also leverages a strong culture of innovation to identify and integrate new technologies into its projects, including its AI-based digital platform, delivering energy infrastructure that is local, reliable, and matched to load. We are building the energy and infrastructure future—today.

Come join us in accelerating the energy and infrastructure transition!

Basic Function

SB Energy is seeking a Manager with deep industry experience to lead the technical program management for owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) power and cooling equipment. You will own the integrated execution schedule and the workflow for technical risks, decisions, dependencies, design evolution and changes across equipment packages.    You will collaborate with SB Energy’s clients, OEMs, and vendors to deliver reliable and fast solutions with the best total cost of ownership (TCO) through sound technical decisions, change management, risk management and value engineering programs, controlling avoidable design change, churn, delays and rework. From day one, you will make independent execution decisions within delegated authority and coordinate approved roadmap, multi-sourcing and other improvement initiatives. Eventually, you will build a team with sufficient program management capacity to deliver seamlessly across projects and equipment packages.    In this role, you will manage execution across multiple equipment packages and projects and lead a shared program supporting supplier readiness, approved product-roadmap releases, and multi-sourcing, fungibility and value engineering initiatives. Assignments may change as projects advance, workloads shift, and business priorities evolve. You will draw on cross-functional specialist support as needed. Across assignments, you will maintain clear program ownership, cross-train colleagues, and provide structured handoffs and backup coverage while respecting established technical, commercial, and functional accountabilities.    This role requires depth in technical program management for OFCI or comparable long-lead equipment, fluency in power and cooling systems, and flexibility to support business needs beyond your primary equipment or project assignment. The broader team will combine complementary electrical, mechanical, commercial, planning, and logistics strengths. You are not expected to be a specialist in every area, but you will build capability across the broader function and draw on specialist expertise to keep programs moving while ensuring decisions remain with the appropriate owners.
